About Me

Professional Training and Experience

Throughout the years I have worked with people struggling with issues such as depression and anxiety, trauma and loss, relationship issues, loneliness, addiction, suicidal feelings, psychosomatic problems, existential dilemmas and identity questions, as well as with people suffering from mental illness. I found that there is not one treatment suitable for all, and that this is part of what makes therapy so interesting  - finding what works for each and every individual, learning together how to open the way for resiliency and healing.

My personal style is related and engaged. I listen attentively but I am not a “silent” therapist. I always look for the right balance of challenges and support, being active in change, or letting go in acceptance.

 

Being a psychologist in San Francisco and in Israel, I have worked with people of diverse cultural and social backgrounds and I honor each individual’s unique experience of belonging or not belonging in this society.
